AKRON (July 11)—Three students have been selected winners of $5,000 undergraduate scholarships by the ACS Rubber Division. Kathleen I. Frank, a senior in rubber technology at Ferris State University, is the recipient of a scholarship named for Emmanuel M. Kontos, longtime Rubber Division participant from Uniroyal Chemical who died recently. Abraham Z. Levy, also a Ferris State senior in rubber technology, and Kinsey L. Hastings, a senior in chemical engineering at the University of Nebraska also received the scholarships.
