BEAR, Del. (July 9)—Arlon Inc. has purchased the Mox-Tape brand product business from Flexfab Horizons International Inc. to expand its rubber silicone tape offerings. A subsidiary of Lake Mary, Fla.-based Bairnco Corp., Arlon has moved the Mox-Tape line and equipment to its Bear production plant. The companies did not release financial details of the transaction. The business consists of un-reinforced and reinforced silicone self-infusing tapes used in a broad range of applications, including high-temperature electrical and mechanical insulation for the military, aerospace, automotive, utility and power generation markets. The line features four basic types of silicone-based products, two that are unsupported and two in the supported class.
