HOUSTON (June 24)—The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers reconfirms its 44th annual general meeting will be held Sept. 21-25 in Beijing. The meeting originally was scheduled to be held in mid-May but the was moved to Sept. 15-18 because of the severe acute respiratory syndrome outbreak and subsequent World Health Organization advisory against travel to Beijing, the IISRP said. Because of scheduling conflicts among suppliers to the meeting, the gathering was postponed a second time to Sept. 21-25. Participants who registered for the mid-May meeting dates will not be required to register again, the IISRP said.
