WILMINGTON, Del. (June 18)—Creditors for Ameripol Synpol Corp. have asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington to appoint a Chapter 11 trustee to administer the bankrupt company's affairs. They cited the synthetic rubber producer's "staggering" losses since its Chapter 11 filing in December and projected continuing losses. The request, filed June 13, comes two months after the creditors committee agreed to withdraw a similar request. The committee of unsecured creditors said in its filing it "has absolutely no confidence in the debtor's ability administer the wind-down process in proper manner." The committee also criticized Ameripol Synpol's current management for suspending sale talks with a prospective buyer, ISP Synthetic Elastomers L.P.
