USWA sets deadline for talks with Goodyear

(From the June 16 issue of Rubber & Plastics News.) AKRON—The United Steelworkers of America, trying to spur progress in its contract negotiations with Goodyear, has set June 27 as the deadline for the sides to reach a tentative agreement before recessing talks in Cincinnati.
