WOBURN, Mass.—CardioTech International Inc. has named Douglas E. Whittaker, Thomas F. Lovett and David Volpe to new positions.
Whittaker now is president of Gish Biomedical Inc., replacing Kelly D. Scott. Whittaker most recently served as director of worldwide sales at Gish. Previously CEO and president of Gish, Scott is leaving to pursue other interests.
Lovett fills the new post of vice president of finance. He will be responsible for overseeing the corporate internal control structure, directing all financial planning activities, quarterly and annual statements, and budget preparation. Lovett previously was corporate controller.
Volpe gave up his post as chief financial officer to become a business adviser reporting to Chairman and CEO Michael Szycher. Volpe´s responsibilities will include business analysis, merger and acquisition structuring, and other business negotiations.
