Liquid Control Decker has introduced a high-pressure, impinge mix C-Spray reaction injection molding gun and metering/tempering unit. The device is designed to spray an elastomeric coating into molds to form a tough skin backed with flexible foam, replacing vinyl used in seats, instrument panels and similar products. The system features an impinge mix gun capable of circulating two-component chemicals through the gun impingement rod and back to supply reservoirs when not spraying, assuring pressures do not fluctuate and eliminating lag, the Liquid Control Corp. unit said. It also includes heat exchangers between the metering pumps and spray head which allow impingement temperatures to be stabilized at 150°F and an extension wand attachment to reach all areas of a mold.
