ATLANTA (May 19)—Huber Engineered Materials will raise prices an average of 5 percent on its Hubercarb-brand calcium carbonate products. The J.M. Huber Corp. subsidiary attributed the hikes, effective June 16, to rising production and operating costs, including energy, labor and insurance expenses. Huber Engineered Materials has three mining and five processing facilities in the U.S. affiliated with its calcium carbonate business.
