MIDLAND, Mich. (May 1)—Liquid Molding Systems Inc. is building a larger facility in Midland to double its manufacturing operation. The 35,000-sq.-ft. factory will replace a four-building complex that spans 28,000 square feet, according to Stuart Brown, vice president of operations. The new building is located near LMS' current operation and will likely begin production in June. The silicone product manufacturer plans to add a clean room at the site, Brown said, which should give it an opportunity to expand its product base.
