Dyneon L.L.C.´s THV X 815 G fluoropolymer meets evaporative emission regulations while offering design flexibility for automotive elastomeric fuel system hose applications. The new grade can be bonded to itself and other substrates for multilayer constructions and co-processed with several hydrocarbon elastomers, Dyneon said. The fluoropolymer´s performance characteristics allow fuel-fill hoses to be produced in longer lengths without sacrificing durability or permeation resistance, providing designers with an easily shaped, flexible hose with good crash performance, the firm said.
