WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. (March 5)—Huntsman Polyurethane's West Deptford, N.J., site was accepted as a participant in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's National Environmental Performance Track Program. The company's selection was a result of the facility's significant ongoing commitment to environmental excellence and improvements, Huntsman said. The firm has focused on the areas of hazardous and non-hazardous waste reduction, reuse and recycling of materials, public outreach and reporting on the performance of its Environmental Management System, said Ray Notaro, the West Deptford, site manager. The facility also has made commitments toward future improvements in electrical energy, gas energy and water usage reductions, he said.
