PLYMOUTH, Mich. (March 5)—Freudenberg & Co., the German parent company of Freudenberg-NOK G.P., has named Mohsen Sohi CEO of the North American sealing and antivibration company it owns along with Japan's NOK Inc. Sohi, 43, will succeed Herbert Fehrecke, who has served as interim CEO of the company since last October when former Chairman and CEO Joseph Day left the company. Sohi, who will take on his new position March 10, beginning with a week-long visit to the German parent company, most recently was senior vice president of the Retail Solutions Division of NCR Corp. Prior to that, Sohi spent over 14 years at Allied Signal Corp. and its post-merger successor, Honeywell International Inc., holding various management positions in technology, product development, operations and general management. Before leaving Honeywell in 2001, Sohi was president of its electronic materials unit, a $1 billion business.
