The Model MI-500N, a digital non-contact infrared temperature sensor from Mikron Infrared Inc., can operate in ambient temperatures up to 185°F without water cooling. The sensor can be equipped with two different sensor heads with a field view of 10:1 or 2:1 and measures temperatures between -40°F and 1,292°F. Equipped with a relay contact and alarm and built-in peak/valley storage, the MI-500N provides high accuracy and repeatability, Mikron said.
