MUMBAI, India (Feb. 18)—Associated Cement Companies Ltd., the largest cement maker by installed capacity, said it's selling its stake in a tire venture with Bridgestone Corp. to the Japanese firm. The Mumbai-based cement company is selling its 19.6 percent stake in the unlisted Bridgestone ACC India Ltd. to Bridgestone for $10.5 million. ACC will sell 30.3 million shares in the tire company at 35 cents per share. The firm said it has decided to focus on cement and related segments and exit from activities that are unrelated to its core business.
