WASHINGTON (Feb. 5)—A federal agency has told Goodyear and Uniroyal Goodrich they don´t have to recall certain mislabeled tires. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said the incorrect labels won´t affect the performance of 2,400 Goodyear and 11,162 Uniroyal passenger tires, and granted the petitions of inconsequential non-compliance to the companies.
