CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 17)—Goodrich Corp. will close its Aurora, Ohio, Power Systems facility, which likely will idle the majority of the 370 employees at the plant, by the end of 2003. The Power Systems division will continue to handle some engineering and business development at a site in Cleveland, but most operations conducted at the Aurora factory will be shifted to other Goodrich plants. Poor economic conditions spurred the closing, a spokeswoman said.
