Dyneon L.L.C. has introduced MIP 8640X, a fluoroelastomer the company said provides faster curing and versatility during processing. Relying on Dyneon´s multifunctional improved processing technology, the material is a high-viscosity fluoroelastomer that offers better flow properties and easily can be injection molded, the firm said. The dipolymer has an integrated crosslinking system and provides good compression set resistance. Processors may reduce their inventory of raw materials and polymers by using the higher viscosity material for multiple processes, Dyneon said.
