INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 20)—Great Lakes Chemical Corp. has opened a production and service center in Arlington, Texas, doubling capacity for its patented no-dust blends line of polymer stabilizers. The facility offers enhanced services and allows the firm to meet growing customer demand. Great Lakes will have additional physical form capabilities on a full commercial or pilot scale, including blending, granulation and extrusion, said Doug Excell, global business manager for polymer stabilizer blends. Earlier this year, the firm announced polymer stabilizer blend expansions at sites in Pedrengo, Italy, and Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
