General Electric Co.'s GE Silicones unit is offering a multicomponent cure system for its Tufel II-brand elastomers line for health care extrusion. The system consists of the new IN-7 inhibitor masterbatch and CA-7 platinum catalyst masterbatch. The two-part systems provides fabricators using the Tufel II base elastomers the ability to balance product-cure speed and shelf life to accommodate specific equipment requirements and extrusion profile configurations. Both IN-7 inhibitor and CA-7 masterbatches are supplied in seven-pound quantities, enough to mix with 1,000 pounds of Tufel II. For more information, visit www.Healthcare-Silicones. com.
