MIDLAND, Mich. (Nov. 27)—Dow Chemical Co. is raising prices for its styrene-butadiene latex sold to the paper industry by 4 cents per pound, dry weight. The company also is hiking prices for its styrene-acrylate latex and solid plastic pigment products sold to that market. The company blamed higher raw material costs for the increases. The changes will take place Jan. 1.
