CLEVELAND (Nov. 4)—Industrial manufacturer Eaton Corp. said it completed its acquisition of Dana Corp.'s Boston Weatherhead division for $130 million. The agreement, first announced Oct. 1, closed Nov. 1. The acquisition supports Eaton's strategy to be a full-capability provider to the fluid power industry, the company said. Boston Weatherhead makes hose, tubing and fluid connectors for fluid power systems primarily for industrial distribution, mobile off-highway and heavy-duty truck markets. In 2001, the Boston Weatherhead division had sales of $207 million and, at year-end, 1,049 employees.
