WILMINGTON, Del.—Ferro Corp.´s Advanced Polymer Alloys division has named E. David Santoleri general manager, W. Robert Abell technical director and Jeffrey Senich manager of business development.
Santoleri and Abell, along with other partners, founded APA in 1997, spinning it off from DuPont to focus on developing and marketing Alcryn Melt-Processible Rubber. Ferro acquired APA in 1999.
In his new position, Santoleri will develop and direct the company´s business and growth strategies, among other duties.
He formerly was sales and marketing director for the division. Before that, he held several other positions, including manager of manufacturing and sales development program manager for DuPont´s Packaging and Industrial Polymers Division.
Abell will head the firm´s new product research and development, manage APA´s technical service team and direct its Alcryn MPR Quality Management program.
The former general manager of APA has more than 40 years in the elastomers and plastics industries. He joined DuPont in 1962 and led the original team that developed and marketed Alcryn MPR, and then managed the product line.
Senich, a 17-year veteran of the elastomers and plastics industries, recently joined APA. He previously was industrial markets manager for Akron-based Advanced Elastomer Systems L.P.
