AKRON (Oct. 24)—Advanced Elastomer Systems L.P. has named a new general manager, following ExxonMobil Chemical Co.'s acquisition of Solutia Inc.'s 50-percent interest in AES earlier this year. Jeff Davis, formerly of ExxonMobil, is replacing AES President and CEO Graham Wildsmith, who joined AES in 1998 after nearly 28 years with Monsanto Co. and Solutia. Davis was appointed AES transition manager in March to develop detailed transition plans around ExxonMobil Chemical's purchase of AES. He has broad experience in manufacturing, marketing, sales and planning, in addition to serving as general manager of Mytex Polymers.
