LYNDHURST, N.J. (Aug. 19)—Polyurethane Corp. of America and subsidiary Polyurethane Specialties Co. Inc. will raise prices for all Millester-brand polyester polyols by 8 cents a pound effective Sept. 1 or as current contracts allow. The firms said the increase is needed to offset the continued rising raw material costs used to manufacture the products. PCA said it had absorbed the material increases over the past year but now needed to pass on a portion of the increases.
