MIDLAND, Mich. (Aug. 16)—Dow Chemical Co.'s Emulsion Polymers business will raise prices Sept. 15 on all its latexes sold to the carpet industry in the U.S. and Canada by 4 cents per dry pound. Increased costs for styrene and butadiene monomers, the major raw materials used to make S/B latex and VSB latexes, are behind the price hike, the company said.
