Thwing-Albert Instrument Co. has developed the EJA Advantage, a PC-controlled test system that provides maximum testing flexibility in a compact test frame. The company said the product is ideal for testing a wide range of materials, including paper, film, nonwovens, textiles, adhesives, packaging and biomedical. All electronics are integrated into the test frame. No external control boxes or additional PC interface cards are required. A serial interface connects the EJA Advantage to any standard PC, providing a complete test station. New features include one-touch zero, automatic calibration and remote pneumatic-grip control.
