SCOTTDALE, Ga. (Aug. 1)—Conveyor belting manufacturer Georgia Duck Inc. said higher raw material costs are forcing it to enact a 3- to 5-percent increase on the company's rubber bulk material handling and lightweight polyvinyl chloride belting. The Sept. 20 price hike will vary by product, said Jim Panter, heavyweight belting sales manager.
