PLYMOUTH, Mich. (July 31)—Dichtomatik North America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Freudenberg-NOK G.P., has broadened its range of sealing products with its acquisition of Burnsville, Minn.-based Transcom Inc. and San Luis Obispo-Calif -based Nu-Seals Inc., which the firm purchased in July. Terms of the agreements were undisclosed. Dichtomatik claims to be one of the world´s strongest European supplier of non-branded, generic and standard cataloged O-ring, oil seal and fluid product seal makers. The recent acquisitions will strengthen Dichtomatik´s position in the North American marketplace. Dichtomatik will obtain Transcom´s line of oil seals in North America and Nu-Seals´ fluid power and custom molded products and its line of O-rings and oil seals, the company said. Nu-Seals and Transcom will join forces with Dichtomatik´s existing O-ring custom molded shape business in Purcellville, Va. and Plymouth, Mich.
