WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (July 12)—Michelin brand tires finished first in the passenger tire category and Michelin and Cooper brands head the light-truck tire segment in the latest study of customer satisfactionsurvey for aftermarket customers by J.D. Power and Associates. In the auto category, Michelin is folowed by Toyo, Uniroyal and Kelly (at tie), and Cooper and Goodyear, also a tie. In the LT group, the leaders were followed by BFGoodrich. The survey of 9,400 tire customers asked questions about such things as performance, design and product quality.
