Amir Hashim and Esah Yip of the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia will present two papers at the fifth annual International Latex Conference July 30-31.
The papers to be presented at the conference in Akron are titled ``NR Biodegradation in Soil in Relation to the Waste Disposal of Used Latex Products,'' and ``A New Standard For Natural Rubber Latex Examination Gloves.''
In addition, Conference Chairman Jim Finn from Akron Dispersions Inc., with the assistance of latex specialists, will answer questions on a variety of latex materials issues, application concerns and design problems posed by participants at the last meeting.
The $475 registration fee entitles partricipants to luncheons and refreshments, a reception, and a set of conference technical papers.
There also will be three question and answer sessions covering synthetic latex, natural latex, compounding, materials and processing.
The International Latex Conference is organized jointly by Rubber & Plastics News and Akron Dispersions. It will take place at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn in Akron.
