GREENVILLE, S.C. (June 26)—Michelin North America Inc. and Quadrem have reached an agreement under which the tire maker's mining customers can buy tires electronically, which the firm says will reduce customers' processing costs. Quadrem is an e-marketplace for the global mining, minerals and metals industries. Through an electronic processing system, customers can access Michelin's e-fleet online catalog and purchase tires, eliminating costly errors in processing and invoicing, the tire maker said.
