SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (June 26)—DePalma Enterprises, a California distributor, is talking up the attributes of Tire Alert, a new tire pressure monitoring device. Tire Alert, which replaces the original tire valve caps, changes color to indicate pressure changes. Green means satisfactory pressure, yellow indicates the tire is low on air, and red indicates the level is dangerously low. "With car manufacturers required to add air pressure sensing devices to cars in 2004, the Tire Alert will provide new safety measures to existing vehicles currently on the road," said Robert DePalma, president of the distributing company.
