NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (June 20)—Goodyear Chemical has increased production at its Niagara Falls chemical facility to accommodate increased demand, adding a fourth shift and several new jobs. Specifically, production of Goodyear Polystay 100 – an antiozonant used to combat degradation of rubber in tires – will rise 20 percent, said Plant Manager Steve Frahm. As of June 17, operations have increased from three to four shifts and from five to seven days, Frahm said. The new shift created seven new jobs at the facility.
