Van Dorn Demag Corp.´s Praxis Series of vertical injection molding machines meets the increased demand for insert molding, over-molding and multicomponent molding in many markets, especially automotive and consumer. The line´s use of two-platen clamp technology reduces floor space requirements, leading to higher productivity per square foot, and decreases oil use. A rotary table can be configured with two or three stations and has oscillating capabilities, the firm said. The line will include six models ranging from 60 to 380 tons. Machines can be shipped in subassemblies and installed at the customer´s plant. For more information, call 440-876-8960; fax 440-876-4383; or visit www.vandorndemag.com.
