LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 13)—Zeon Chemicals L.P. has added polyisoprene to the portfolio of synthetic rubbers it distributes in North America. Zeon Chemicals, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan's Zeon Corp., notified customers May 9 of the addition of Nipol-brand polyisoprene to its range of specialty elastomers. Zeon makes the rubber at its plants in Japan, but has not distributed it widely in North America until now, said Tony Luft, director of sales.
