LOS ANGELES (May 7)—Guttenberg, N.J.-based Recovery Technologies Group Inc. has agreed to lease Rubber Technology International Inc.'s Los Angeles crumb rubber facility. RTG has operated the plant on an interim basis since Feb. 26, and will take over permanently as soon as the permits come through, which should be by early June, said RTG President Marty Sergi. The arrangement gives expansion-minded RTG a much-needed base in the Southwest while eliminating the financially strapped RTI's overhead and giving it a steady stream of income, the companies said.
