CARY, N.C. (May 1)—Charles J. Hora will resign as Lord Corp. president at the end of May after 10 years in the position and 15 years with the firm to pursue interests outside Lord. Lord Chairman Sheldon A. Buckler will assume the duties of president until a successor is chosen. The firm already has started a search from both inside and outside the company to find a replacement for Hora. Lord said the company has "reached new heights of sales and profitability" during Hora´s tenure.
