DURHAM, N.C. (April 26)—Forbo Holding A.G. has completed its purchase of Reichhold Inc.'s Swift Adhesives business after receiving the needed regulatory approvals. The business posts sales of about $250 million, employs 600 and operates in Europe, North, Central and South America, as well as a joint venture in China. Reichhold parent Dainippon Ink & Chemicals Inc. sold the business as part of a restructuring to focus on the composites and coating and performance resins business. At the same time, Forbo has been looking to boost its presence in the adhesives business.
