FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (April 24)—GenCorp Inc., the parent company of vehicle sealing producer GDX Automotive, has promoted Michael Thomas Bryant to president of the automotive unit. Bryant had been president of the unit's European operations since November and before that, operations director of the European business since June. Bryant spent 18 years with Ford Motor Co. before holding positions with Lear Corp. U.K. Ltd. and United Technologies Automotive U.K. Ltd. He replaces Interim President Terry Hall who is GenCorp's chief operating officer and former GDX President Joseph M. Gray who unexpectedly left the company in December.
