Great Lakes Chemical Corp. has expanded its portfolio of flame retardants with the launch of Firemaster 2100, a general purpose, non-diphenyl oxide-based brominated flame retardant. The high-purity product can be used on a variety of materials like elastomers, engineering polymers and polyolefins for applications that need high levels of flame retardancy, good processing stability and resistance to weathering, the company said.
