AKRON-Donald E. Stanley and James C. Whiteley have been named to Goodyear vice president positions.
Stanley has become vice president of product quality and plant technology. He joined the firm in 1979 as a process control analyst at its Lawton, Okla., plant and served in a variety of management capacities since then. His last post was director of global process quality.
Whiteley, who was vice president of global product and process quality, now is vice president for government compliance and product performance. He is a 33-year Goodyear veteran, starting as a management trainee and advancing through posts in product quality and performance.
