PLYMOUTH, Mich.—Vibration Control Technologies L.L.C. has appointed Stephen R. Sperlazza president and chief operating officer and Ronald E. Snead director of sales.
Vibration Control was formed earlier this year as a minority-owned joint venture owned by Freudenberg-NOK G.P. and TAG Holdings L.L.C. to produce torsional vibration dampers for auto makers.
Sperlazza was vice president and general manager for three of Freudenberg-NOK´s manufacturing facilities, along with a separate distribution center. He will be responsible for all aspects of Vibration Control´s Ligonier, Ind., factory.
Snead most recently was corporate director of business development for Thomas Madison Inc., a stamping, tool and die and electrodeposition company in Detroit. He will be responsible for all commercial activities of the joint venture, including strategy, pricing and business development.
