SUMMERVILLE, S.C.—Summit Rubber Co. nearly doubled its compression molding capacity earlier this year to accommodate new production of replacement wiper blades. By the end of 2002, the manufacturer expects to enlarge its now 25,000-sq.-ft. plant even further so it can install a new line to extrude skylight window gaskets.
