TEXARKANA, Ark. (March 13)—Steelworkers at Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s radial passenger and light trick tire plant in Texarkana will vote March 15 on a new three-year contract with the company, according to union officials. Negotiators for United Steelworkers Local 752—which has about 1,550 members—and the company reached a tentative agreement on the deal March 10, said local Treasurer Olen Nottingham. Members received presentations detailing the pact on March 13, Nottingham said. The previous three-year contract with Cooper officially expired March 4.
