MOUNT OLIVE, N.J. (March 1)—Chemical and related product supplier BASF Corp. will realign its distribution channel for styrenic copolymers effective immediately to give better support to customers' operations. ENTEC Engineered Resins of Maitland, Fla., is now the national distributor of the firm's styrenic copolymer product line, while regional distribution coverage will be handled by Farmingdale, N.Y.-based Amco Plastic Materials Inc., eastern U.S.; Prime Alliance of Des Moines, Iowa, central U.S.; and Alamitos, Calif.-based West Coast Polymers, western U.S. The moves will bring sharper focus to BASF's channel-to-market capabilities in North America for styrenic copolymers and reposition its market approach, said Herman Savenije, BASF director of styrenic copolymers.
