FORT LEE, N.J. (Feb. 25)—Sun Chemical Corp. will buy Bayer Corp.'s organic pigments business. The purchase is scheduled to close April 1, pending approval by regulatory groups. The Bushy Park, S.C., facility employs about 180 producing Bayer's Indofast, Perrindo, Quindo and Palomar-brand pigments used in coatings for automotive, industrial and architectural applications and for coloring plastics and fibers. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
