FINDLAY, Ohio—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has promoted three, one in the tire business and two at its Cooper-Standard operation.
The firm named William C. Dusseau commercial truck tire development manager, with responsibility for leading, planning and organizing the daily and long-term activities of the commercial tire development group.
He will work with manufacturing to improve existing products and introduce new tires, as well as with the marketing group to identify areas for new products.
Dusseau joined Cooper in 1992, working the entire time in passenger tire engineering.
At the Cooper-Standard division, Brian Samkowiak was promoted to quality manager for the Gaylord, Mich., sealing products facility.
Samkowiak has worked at the plant for 22 years, the last five as manufacturing manager.
He will be succeeded as manufacturing manager by Dave Bokas, who takes that post in addition to his role as lean manager for the facility. He has worked at the Gaylord factory for 25 years in various departments.
