WASHINGTON (Feb. 12)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is recalling a total of 3,368 Cooper Discovery A/T tires in two separate actions. Some 484 Discovery A/T tires made between Aug. 26 and Sept. 1, 2001, are being recalled for possible pinholes in the upper sidewall on the DOT serial number side. Another 2,884 tires are being recalled for possible inner-liner tears caused during ejection from the mold after curing.
