NEBRASKA CITY, Neb. (Feb. 11)—Investigators are "still examining evidence" as to the cause of a fire at EnTire Recycling Inc. in Nebraska City, according to Ken Winters, Nebraska state fire marshal. The blaze was extinguished Feb. 3, 11 days after it started at the cryogenic tire grinding company. One building and two of the firm's four storage silos were destroyed, and there was damage to the north processing building, according to Winters, who said no dollar amount has yet been placed on the damage. Thirteen firefighters were injured fighting the blaze, and police evacuated a 27-block area around the site.
