CARY, N.C. (Feb. 1)—BotZilla, a robot equipped with three sets of vibration control mounts from Lord Corp., placed second in The Learning Channel's "Robotica" series. The television show pits two robots racing through a rugged terrain track. Lord supplied designer Lawrence Feir with mounts for shock protection and vibration isolation. Feir will take two new robots—Trilobyte and TrackZilla—to "Robot Wars, Extreme Warriors," a British robot combat television program.
